PUBG stopped its all services in India from today | Technoiable

  Indian govt. recently imposed a ban on the popular mobile game PUBG Mobile along with a slew of other apps and games under Section 69A of the IT Act. The reason given behind the ban was that these apps were engaging in activities that are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity, defence and security of the country. Since then both the PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite apps have been removed from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. It was then assumed that the company would shut down its India servers for the game, in a similar fashion to TikTok, in order to comply with the instructions from the Government of India. However, that was not the case, and the servers remained online, with the players only being required to sideload the latest version of the game on to their phone. WhatsApp Web will have video and audio calling feature soon | Technoiable

  WhatsApp might bring voice and video calls to WhatsApp web, according to a report that has found the feature in a recent update to the web client in WhatsApp. According to the report in WABetaInfo, the feature is currently under development and will be made available by the Facebook-owned messaging platform in a future build. The report says that WhatsApp is considering to push the new feature in the next few weeks, even if the development is in a beta stage. The report also put out screenshots of the new feature, which shows a window will pop-up when a user receives a call. The window will be a small "incoming call" window with options to accept, decline, or ignore the incoming call. The incoming call window will also show the display picture of the caller.   Apple has accelerated work to develop its own search engine that would allow the iPhone maker to offer an alternative to Google, a report said Wednesday. The report, citing unnamed sources, said signs of the search engine technology have begun to appeal in its iOS 14 operating system. The move comes amid increased scrutiny by antitrust enforcers, who sued Google in the United States over its dominance in search technology. As part of the lawsuit, the Department of Justice noted that Google pays Apple billions of dollars to be the principal search engine on iOS devices. Apple two years ago hired Google’s head of search, John Giannandrea, in a move designed to help build artificial intelligence capabilities and its Siri virtual assistant. Nokia launched two new feature phones in China. The new feature phones come with support for both 4G and even VoLTE HD calls. The two smartphones come with a similar form factor and design language. However the Nokia 225 4G has a few relatively premium features in comparison to the Nokia 215 4G. In India, the company is selling a single model in the 200-series, Nokia 216 Dual SIM which is priced at ₹2,750, according to the company’s official website.
